NATIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY BRUNEI  DARUSSAM (NCCIBD)

The NCCIBD was established to NCCIBD represent the country's business communities in Asean and other international regions. NCCIBD  is a combination of Malay and Chinese entrepreneurs merged under one national body providing a multilateral working relationship for economic and social development.

The NCCIBD  is responsive in nature and provides guidance for members. It instills confidence for improving business standards by upgrading knowledge of commerce and industry.

The Association is committed to assisting its members in representing and participating at international level, and taking advantage of shared experiences and similarities aimed at promoting development, thereby demonstrating in a practical way the ideals of co-operation and mutual assistance and strengthening links among international, Asean and sub-regional countries and peoples.

NCCIBD  formed a business council to forge relationships with countries like Malaysia,the Philippines and Australia. The Association intends to accelerate development in commerce and industry by fostering better understanding through trade and cultural exchange, regionally and sub-regionally. The NCCIBD  has plans to create a database of trade and investment statistics, and information on business activities and products available in sectors and sub-sectors of Asean, to be used by Association members to promote industrial joint-ventures and expand intra-Asean trade.

The firm commitment and efforts of the NCCIBD  in achieving its objectives and policy mean that a positive contribution is visualised towards the development of a strong relationship between territories under BIMP-EAGA for the East Asean Growth Area.
