  CACCI Planning Committee Meeting set on Feb. 4 in HK  
  CACCI is cordially inviting all member chambers to attend the meeting of the CACCI Planning Committee scheduled on February 4, 2015 in Hong Kong. To be hosted by the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce (KCC), the meeting will discuss preparations for the 29th CACCI Conference to be held tentatively in early November 2015 in Hong Kong.  
 
 
 
  Members invited to CACCI Presidential Visit to Bangladesh  
  CACCI President Mr. Jemal Inaishvili is inviting all CACCI members to join him in his Presidential visit to Bangladesh on February 2-3, 2015. It will be Mr. Inaishvili’s first such visit since he assumed office in September this year in Kuala Lumpur.  
 
 
  Amb. Yujuico co-chairs CTT Supervisory Board  
  CACCI immediate past president Amb. Benedicto Yujuico has accepted the invitation of Mr. Sergey Katyrin, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCIRF), to co-chair the newly-established Center for Technology Transfer (CTT) Supervisory Board.

  CACCI members are invited by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to submit nominations for the “2015 Oslo Business for Peace Award” to be presented in May 2015 in Oslo, Norway.

  China’s President Xi Jinping opened the 22nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting on November 11 at Yanqi Lake where the region’s Leaders are gathered to advance next generation measures for enhancing cooperation between member economies and manifest a new vision for sustainable, inclusive development across the Asia-Pacific.  
 
 
  CACCI approves 2015-2016 work program  
  The CACCI Council during its 83rd Council Meeting approved the 2015-2016 work program outlining activities over the next two years in the area of policy advocacy, professional development program, membership expansion, relationship with other regional and international organizations, and development of the CACCI Product and Service Councils, among others.  
 
 
 
  Newly-elected CACCI President appoints Executive Committee  
  Mr. Jemal Inaishvili, newly-elected CACCI president, has appointed new members of the Executive Committee to serve during his term from 2014-2016. Members of the Executive Committee will assist the CACCI president in developing and implementing programs, projects and activities to help CACCI achieve its primary objective of regional cooperation among its members.  
 
 
  CACCI President takes part in Eurochambres conference  
  CACCI President Mr. Jemal Inaishvili participated in the Global Chamber Platform (GCP) Annual Meeting and The European Parliament of Enterprises (EPE) at the Eurochambres (Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Conference held on October 15-16, 2014 in Brussels.  
 
 
 
  Amb. Yujuico speaks at the PCCI Chamber Management Workshop  
  CACCI Immediate Past President Amb. Benedicto Yujuico gave a presentation on “CACCI and its Role in Promoting Regional Cooperation among its Members” at the Annual Chamber Management Workshop (CMW) hosted by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in Manila on October 21, 2014.  
 
 
  CACCI attends WCF General Council Meeting in Tokyo  
  CACCI Deputy Director-General Mr. Amador Honrado Jr. represented CACCI President Mr. Jemal Inaishvili in the meeting of the General Council of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) on 17 October 2014 in Tokyo, Japan.  
 
 
 
  At the 28th CACCI Conference - Asia Pacific business community looks beyond 2020  
  The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) successfully held its 28th CACCI Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 17-19, 2014, with the participation of some 300 delegates composed largely of leading businessmen from 22 Asia-Pacific countries, led by outgoing CACCI President Ambassador Benedicto V. Yujuico from the Philippines.  
 
 
  New CACCI President Jemal Inaishvili prepares to take the helm  
  The CACCI Council, which is the organization’s governing body, on September 17 elected Mr. Jemal Inaishvili, Board Member of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as CACCI President, replacing Amb. Benedicto Yujuico from the Philippines. Mr. Inaishvili served as CACCI Vice President since 2006. He becomes the 25th CACCI President since the Confederation was first established in 1966.  
 
 
 
  CACCI names office bearers for 2014-2016  
  Key officers from Primary Members have been elected by the CACCI Council to serve as Vice Presidents, Honorary Treasurer, Budget Commission members, and members of the Executive Committee for the term 2014-2016. The newly-elected officers will assist new CACCI President Mr. Jemal Inaishvili in implementing CACCI programs and activities for the next two years.  
 
 
  CACCI approves policy paper on trade liberalization and facilitation  
  The CACCI Council approved the Policy Paper on “Trade Liberalization and Facilitation” during the 83rd CACCI Council Meeting held on September 17 in Kuala Lumpur. The paper was formulated with the assistance of Mr. Bryan Clark, Director of Trade and International Affairs, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).  
 
 
 
  South Urals and San Pablo City CCI named Best Local Chambers  
  Two local chambers from CACCI member countries received the 6th Local Chamber Awards during the gala dinner held on September 19, in conjunction with the 28th CACCI Conference in Kuala Lumpur.  
 
 
  Hendy Setiono bags CACCI Young Entrepreneur Award  
  Hendy Setiono, President Director of PT Baba Rafi Indonesia, took home the 5th Asia Pacific Young Entrepreneur Award presented by CACCI during the gala dinner of the 28th CACCI Conference held on September 19, 2014 in Kuala Lumpur.

In preparation for the 2015 Conference, members of the CACCI Planning Committee will meet on 4 February 2015 in Hong Kong primarily to discuss the Conference Program, including the theme and topics for the Conference.
